Prashant Kishor claims Jan Suraj is now Bihar’s largest political organization.

Patna, June 19, 2025: Prashant Kishor, the architect of the Jan Suraj Party, made several sharp political attacks on BJP, RJD and JDU on the final day of his three-day tour of Gopalganj as part of his ongoing ‘Bihar Badlaav Yatra’.

The political strategist-turned-politician asserted that Jan Suraj has rapidly evolved into Bihar’s largest political organization within just a few months of its formal launch.

Speaking to reporters, Kishor said, “On October 2, 2024, Jan Suraj transitioned from a campaign into a full-fledged political party.

Today, no other party in Bihar can match our organization’s strength. We already have 1 crore supporters, and 3-4 lakh people are enrolling as primary members by paying a normal fee of Rs 10 per month.”

Kishor said the ‘Bihar Badlaav Yatra’, launched from Jay Prakash Narayan’s birthplace Sitab Diara on May 20, aims to awaken public consequences toward systematic reform and governance overall in Bihar.

Prashant Kishor Jibe at PM Modi over Bihar visit:

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Siwan, Kishor questioned the motive behind the visit.

“PM Modi is visiting Bihar only because elections are near. But he must answer two questions _ What happened to the Rs 1.25 lakh crore package he promised from Ara in 2015? And how did BJP’s Bihar State President Dilip Jaiswal, once a clerk in a Sikh minority medical college in Seemanchal, become the owner of that very institution?”

Prashant Kishor’s criticism of Tejashwi Yadav on ‘DK Tax’ allegations:

Taking on RJD leader and former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, Kishor said:

“Tejashwi is crying foul over ‘DK Tax’ now, but when he was in power with Nitish Kumar, the same principal secretary was holding that post. If he was corrupt then, why didn’t you raise your voice while enjoying power? Today, when your share of power is gone, you’re blaming the system.”

Prashant Kishor claims Nitish Kumar is unfit to govern:

In a scathing comment on the governance in Bihar, Prashant Kishor questioned CM Nitish Kumar’s mental and physical fitness.

“Transfers, postings, and commission appointments are not being made by Nitish Kumar himself. These decisions reflect the influence of a select group of advisors, not the CM’s leadership. The appointment of relatives of political and bureaucratic elites goes against Nitish Kumar’s past image,” Kishor said.
