Prashant Kishor claimed two-thirds of MLAs will lose the Bihar assembly poll 2025 due to bad performance.

Patna, May 27, 2025: Political strategist turned founder of the Jan Suraj Party Prashant Kishor made a bold prediction in the Ziradei block of Siwan district on Tuesday.

Prashant Kishor confident of change in Bihar:

As part of his ongoing ‘Bihar Badlaav Yatra’, Kishor said that two-thirds of the current MLAs in Bihar—regardless of party affiliation—will lose their seats in the upcoming state assembly elections.

Addressing the crowd, Prashant Kishor said, “The people of Bihar are angry with corruption and betrayal. They know their MLAs have done nothing for them. A wave of change is rising in the state, and in the next four months, this will become a reality.”

He further added that Jan Suraj aims to give power back to the people, stating, “This time, it is not about making leaders, it’s about making the people of Bihar the king.”

Prashant Kishor claimed he has no fear of legal action:

While speaking to the journalists after the meeting, Prashant Kishor sharply criticized Bihar government ministers Mangal Pandey and Ashok Choudhary.

Referring to them as part of the corrupt establishment, he accused them of involvement in commission raj and said the people know “Who is taking cuts even in cotton bandages.”

“I have been moving through the villages of Bihar for three years without police protection,” Kishor said.

“I am not afraid of any notice or FIR. I will continue to expose those who are looting Bihar,” he said.

Prashant Kishor’s remarks have stirred political discussion, particularly with the state elections expected later this year.

His anti-establishment rhetoric and grassroots campaign have positioned Jan Suraj as a movement to watch in the coming months.
