New Delhi, January 10, 2026: On the occasion of National Youth Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the valedictory session of the Viksit Bharat Young Leader Dialogue 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on January 12, at around 4:30 PM.
PM Narendra Modi will interact with students:
During the event, the PM Narendra Modi will interact with nearly 3,000 young participants drawn from across the country, along with young representatives from the Indian diaspora.
Selected participants will make final presentations before the Prime Minister on ten thematic areas, sharing their perspectives and actionable ideas on key national priorities.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister will also release an essay compilation prepared as part of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026.
The compilation will feature selected essays authored by young participants, reflecting their views on India’s development priorities and long-term nation-building goals.
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, now in its second edition, serves as a national platform for structured engagement between India’s youth and the country’s leadership.
The Initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s call made from the Red Fort on Independence Day to involve one lakh young people in politics, without any political affiliation, and to provide them with a national platform to contribute to the vision of a developed India.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, held from January 9 to January 12, 2026, witnessed participants from over 50 lakh youth across the country at various stages.
The young leaders selected for the national-level championship emerged through a rigorous, merit-based three-stage selection process, comprising a digital quiz, an essay competition, and state-level vision presentations conducted nationwide.
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, the second edition of the Dialogue introduced several key enhancements, including Design for Bharat, tech for Viksit Bharat—hack for a Social Cause, expanded thematic engagement, and international participation for the first time, significantly broadening the scope and impact of the initiative.
