
Patna April 23, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhubani district in Bihar on Thursday, where he will address a massive rally and participate in a series of developmental and ceremonial events marking National Panchayati Raj Day.
As part of his visit, PM Modi will take part in a grand program around 11.45 am at Bhairavastan in Jhanjharpur subdivision of Madhubani district.
The visit holds significant importance in light of the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections and preparations at the administrative and political levels are in full swing.
PM Narendra Modi will announce major projects:
During his visit, PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate, lay foundation stones, and dedicate projects worth over Rs 13480 crore to the nation, covering key sectors such as infrastructure, energy rural development and railways.
PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the LPG bottling plant at Hathua block in Gopalganj district, a project worth Rs 340 crore to enhance bulk LPG transportation and streamline the supply chain.
He will also inaugurate projects related to the power sector worth Rs 1,170 crore in new projects and Rs 5,030 crore worth of power infrastructure under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme.
PM Narendra Modi will flag off new trains including the Amrit Bharat Express between Saharsa and Mumbai, the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail between Jaynagar and Patna, and regional connections between Pipra, Saharsa and Samastipur.
He will also inaugurate Supaul-Pipra and Hasanpur-Bithan rail lines, and Rail Overbridges in Chapra and Bagaha. He will also dedicate the Khagaria-Alauli rail line to the nation.

Rural empowerment and housing:
PM Modi will distribute Rs 930 crore under the Community Investment Fund to over 2 lakh Self-Help-Groups (SHG) in Bihar under Day-NRLM and sanction letters to 15 lakh PMAY_Gramin beneficiaries and instalment releases to 10 lakh PMAY-G beneficiaries nationwide.
Political and administrative mobilization:
Union Minister and JDU MP Rajiv Ranjan Singh who is popularly known as Lalan Singh confirmed that the administrative setup is fully ready for the Prime Minister event.
Senior BJP leaders and started arriving, and movement of key political figures from North Bihar has already begun,” Singh said, underlining the political significance of the rally.
This visit is expected to galvanize the BJP-led NDA’s campaign in Bihar as the state gears up for its assembly elections later this year.
