People turned out in large numbers in the road show of power star Pawan Singh in Karakat LS constituency.

Patna April 23: The Karakat Lok Sabha seat of Bihar is turning out to be a triangular contest after the entry of Bhojpuri power star Pawan Singh.
Pawan Singh is contesting here as an independent candidate and has started the road show on Tuesday. He got phenomenal response from people in this constituency. Pawan Singh travelled in a Range Rover SUV and more than 150 cars in his convoy reached Karakat via Kachwa, Gogri, Nasriganj and people turned out in large numbers on the road to see their favorite star. He has visited Bikranganj, Nokha, Akodigola, Dehri-on-sone, and Rajpur before entering Aurangabad district. The situation went out of control at several places as a large number of youths, especially women, assembled at several places to see him. He will also go to Barun and Nabinagar in Aurangabad on Wednesday.
The contest of Karakat is turning out interesting after the entry of power star Pawan Singh. From NDA, Upendra Kushwaha is contesting on the ticket of his party named Rashtriya Lok Morcha and CPI ML has given the ticket to Rajaram Singh. These two belong to the Kushwaha community. Pawan Singh belongs to an upper caste family and upper caste people are considered as core voters of BJP. Upendra Kushwaha was expecting a one to one fight with CPI ML candidate Rajaram Singh with an advantage to get the votes of upper caste as a NDA candidate but the arrival of Pawan Singh has changed the scenario of this seat.
“It was a great feeling that people turned out in large numbers to support my son. My son waited for a long time to enter into politics. Today, his dreams came true. I hand over my son to the people of Karakat. I want to appeal to the people of Karakat to keep him like their son. He will do according to your wishes,” said Pratima Singh, mother of Pawan Singh.
“My mother has said that I became a son of Karakat. If I win the Karakat Lok Sabha seat, I promise you that I will never let the people here suffer. The people will always see development here,” Pawan Singh said.
