Original Root of NEET Question Paper Leak: The question paper was leaked from Jharkhand.
Patna June 23: A day after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered an FIR in the NEET question paper leak case based on the investigation report of the Economic Offence Unit (EOU) of Bihar police, it appeared that the question paper was reportedly leaked from a private school Hazaribag district of Jharkhand. It is the Original Root of NEET Question Paper Leak.
According to the source of EOU, a question paper with a booklet number (6136488) came on the WhatsApp of the examination mafia in Patna. That booklet was received by that school in Hazaribagh.
The box in which the booklet reached the school was also found tampered with. Now, the investigation agency is probing on the line of whether the question paper was leaked while coming from the warehouse to the bank or it was stolen between the bank and the examination center.
In the investigation of Bihar’s EOU, it has come to light that Sanjeev Mukhiya, an employee of Nursarai Udyan College, Nalanda, is the kingpin of the paper leak gang. Sanjeev Mukhiya was conspiring with his gang to leak the NEET exam paper for several months. Before the exam, a professor had sent the paper to Sanjeev Mukhiya on WhatsApp. After this, the paper was solved with the help of medical students from Patna and Ranchi.
After preparing the answers to all the questions, it was sent to the mobile of Chintu Kumar alias Baldev of Karayparsurai block of Nalanda district.
Bihar EOU also has a list of such candidates who were given the paper before the exam and were made to memorize its answers. EOU has arrested 13 people involved in the paper leak. Many others are also being questioned. Apart from this, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of EOU has raided Deoghar in Jharkhand and arrested 6 people including Chintu Kumar. He is a relative of the main mastermind Sanjeev Mukhiya.
The EOU also found the names of the doctors who solved the NEET exam paper. 10 PG doctors from medical colleges in Patna and Ranchi are being searched for solving the NEET paper. The SIT has found a connection with the PG doctors after their Whatsapp chat with the accused. The accused allegedly sent the question papers to PG doctors on their mobile phones.
Earlier, the CBI registered the FIR on Saturday night and has started the investigation.
Earlier, the Union Education Ministry summoned Nayyar Hasnain Khan, the Additional Director General of Bihar’s EOU and sought information related to the paper leak of the NEET exam.
On Saturday, Khan met the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi and put all the facts before him. It is clear from those facts that the paper of the NEET exam was leaked. Only after this, the central government decided to hand over the case to the CBI.
The NEET examination was held on May 5 and its question paper was reached before education mafias a day earlier on May 4.
