Patna, August 14, 2025: Nityanand Rai, the Union Minister of State for Home, on Thursday said that RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has been rejected by the Congress, which has made it clear that the people will decide the next Chief Minister.
Referring to the Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru, Rai claimed that the people of Bihar have already rejected the Congress, RJD and left parties, and asserted that the RJD Congress government will never return to power in the state.
“The Grand Alliance will be wiped out from Bihar in the 2025 assembly elections,” Rai said.
Nityanand Rai claimed Tejashwi Yadav believes in dynastic politics:
Describing Yadav as nepotistic, corrupt and greedy, Nityanand Rai alleged that despite repeated contempt and insult from the Congress, the RJD leader remains allied with it for the greed of power and singing the Bhajans of the Congress.”
“Tejashwi Yadav has lost respect. Bihar now wants development, and an NDA government will be formed under the leadership of Nitish Kumar,” he added.
Nityanand Rai criticized the Congress over partition:
On the historical issues, Rai said, “Jawaharlal Nehru’s stubbornness and Jinnah’s jinn were responsible for the partition of India, which Mahatma Gandhi had opposed.
Partition happened due to appeasement, discrimination, and religious hatred. Hindus and Sikhs were driven out of Pakistan. We have experienced pain. Even after this, Congress says forget the partition,” Rai said.
Speaking about the Tiranga Yatra, Nityanand Rai said it was meant to remember the horror of partition.
He warned that if someone wants to appease and create a threat to the integrity of the country, it will not work.
“The country will not tolerate such people. RJD and Congress do not even recognize the country for the sake of power,” he said.
