Nitish Kumar targeted Lalu Prasad Yadav for promoting dynastic politics.
Patna April 21: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar once again attacked the RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav for promoting dynastic politics on Sunday.
While addressing a rally in Gandhi Maidan of Thakurganj in Bihar’s Kishanganj district on Sunday, he said: “I am associated with those (NDA) at present and they are not dynastic people but I was earlier with those who believe in nepotism. He (Lalu Prasad Yadav) made his wife (Rabri Devi), then sons (Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav) and now his daughter (Rohini Acharya).”
Earlier in Katihar on Saturday, Nitish Kumar targeted Lalu Prasad Yadav in the same way and said that he made his wife, sons and daughters. They shouldn’t have had so many kids.
Congress fought during the freedom struggle but who are in the party. It has been run by a family (Nehru-Gandhi family) and not any other person. This is the reason why the Congress party is coming to an end now. Congress and RJD are dynastic parties. They do not allow any other person to flourish in the party,” Kumar said.
“We strongly believe that people of entire Bihar are our family and whatever we do, we do it for you guys. In Kishanganj, Muzahid Alam is our candidate and I want to appeal to you to vote for him. Bring your hands in the air to ensure that you will vote for him,” Kumar said.
The voting for the Kishanganj Lok Sabha constituency will take place in the second phase on April 26. Besides Kishanganj, the polling will take place in Katihar, Purnea, Bhagalpur and Banka Lok Sabha constituencies in Bihar in the second phase as well on the same date.
