Patna, December 31, 2025: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid floral tribute to Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha, father of BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin, at Rajvanshi Nagar in Patna on Wednesday.
The occasion marked the 20th death anniversary of the veteran BJP leader.
A tribute ceremony was organized at Nabin Sinha Park in the Rajvanshi Nagar locality, where leaders from across the political spectrum gathered to remember Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha’s contributions to public life and party organization.
The ceremony was attended by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with hundreds of senior BJP leaders, party workers, and local residents. All the leaders offered floral tributes to the portrait and statue of the late leader.
Nitish Kumar and other leaders recalled the dedication of Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha:
During the program, speakers recalled Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha’s political journey, his role in strengthening the BJP’s organizational base in Bihar, and his lifelong commitment to public service.
BJP leaders highlighted his simplicity, discipline, and close connection with the masses, stating that his efforts played a crucial role in the party’s expansion in the state.
Party leaders said that Naveen Kishore Sinha’s life continues to inspire BJP workers, who are striving to strengthen the organization by following the values and principles he upheld.
Nitin Nabin pays homage to his father:
Nitin Nabin, who was recently appointed as the National Working President of the Bhartiya Janata Party, was also present at the ceremony. Paying tribute to his father, Nitish Kumar said that he would continue to walk on the path shown by him and dedicate himself to public service.
“I will work closely with the community, consider every individual as a member of my family, and strive for their welfare,” Nitin Nabin said while paying homage to his father on the occasion.
Nitin Nabin began his political career by carrying forward his father’s legacy and has now assumed a key organizational responsibility at the national level.
The BJP’s central leadership has entrusted him with this role, which is considered significant for the party’s future organizational expansion.
Party workers and local residents also participated in large numbers, expressing respect for the late Naveen Kishore Prasad Sinha.
Emphasizing values such as social harmony and public service, leaders urged the youth to draw inspiration from his life and actively contribute to the development of society.
