Patna, September 28, 2025: Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, on Sunday inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for a series of development projects worth over Rs 2,300 crore during his visit to Gopalganj and Vaishali districts, as part of his state-wide pre-election development push.
Nitish Kumar launched 185 projects in Gopalganj:
At the Sabeya airfield complex in Gopalganj, CM Nitish Kumar launched 185 schemes worth Rs 1,585.59 crore, including the foundation stone of 124 projects valued at Rs 1,295.85 crore and the inauguration of 61 projects worth Rs 289.74 crore.

Nitish Kumar interacted with Jeevika Didis, pensioners, and other beneficiaries at the venue.
Later, at Degree College, Goraul in Vaishali, Kumar inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 331 schemes worth Rs 744.85 crore, including projects announced during his Pragati Yatra.
He also laid the foundation stone for the Degree College and reviewed its 3D model.
The Chief Minister interacted with beneficiaries:
During the public interaction, Nitish Kumar met pensioners, Jeevika members, Anganwadi Sevika and Sahayikas and other beneficiaries, stressing that the new schemes would improve infrastructure, boost livelihoods and raise living standards in the region.

The Chief Minister is currently touring two districts daily, inaugurating and launching development projects ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
On Saturday, he carried out similar programs in Katihar and Madhubani and inaugurated and laid down the foundation stones of development projects worth more than Rs 8900 crore, signalling a strong development agenda before the poll announcement.
