Patna, November 1, 2025: Ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday issued a video message urging voters to participate enthusiastically in polling on November 6 and 11 and ensure the victory of NDA candidates.
Nitish Kumar said Bihar was in extremely poor condition before 2005, and claimed his government worked to change that situation.
He said that earlier being called a Bihari was a matter of shame, but today it is a matter of pride.
Nitish Kumar claimed his government has worked in every sector:
The Chief Minister said the NDA government has undertaken development in every sector and reminded that people have given him four opportunities so far.

He asked the public to elect NDA again so that the alliance remains in power both in the state and at the Centre, which he said would help in the faster progress of Bihar.
Nitish Kumar said he never promoted dynastic politics:
Nitish Kumar asserted that he never did politics for personal or family benefit.
The entire Bihar is my family. We have worked for all—Hindus, Muslims, and people of all castes,” he said.

He highlighted work in education, healthcare, road infrastructure, and women’s empowerment, and said the NDA has prioritized the poor and middle class.
Political observers see this message as a direct attempt to reinforce trust among voters and to activate the NDA’s support base, along with undecided voters.
Polling in Bihar will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. Counting is scheduled for November 14.
