Patna, November 13, 2025: As Bihar braces for the counting of votes on November 14, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday made a surprise visit to the JDU war room to review preparation for the big day.
Nitish Kumar reached the party office unannounced and inspected the arrangements for counting and result monitoring.
Nitish Kumar spent at the JDU office for 10 minutes:
He spent about 10 minutes in the war room, interacted with senior party leaders and reviewed real-time data systems before issuing final instructions.
He later returned to his residence.

With both phases of voting now completed, most exit polls have predicted an NDA victory, suggesting Nitish Kumar’s likely return as Chief Minister.
Buoyed by the projections, Nitish Kumar visited Mahavir mandir, Patna High Court Mazar, and a Gurudwara earlier on Wednesday, a gesture widely seen as a symbolic outreach to all communities on the eve of the results.
Both sides are showing confidence in winning polls:
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha expressed confidence in an NDA win, saying, “The people of Bihar have voted for the development programs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Tomorrow will mark the return of the double-engine government.”

Meanwhile, RJD leader and Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Kumar Jha dismissed the exit polls, recalling 2015.
“They burst firecrackers then too, but after the results, all the firecrackers came to us,” he said.
Jha claimed the Grand Alliance would win 75% of the seats this time.
Vote counting will begin at 8 am on Friday, with trends expected to become clear by noon, deciding whether the NDA retains power or the Grand Alliance stages an upset.
