Patna, October 1, 2025: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone, and dedicated the public utility and development projects worth Rs 4233 crore.
An event in this regard was held at Sankalp, 1 Anne Marg, the official residence cum office of the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Nitish Kumar also transferred compensation to farmers:
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also transferred more than Rs 113 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to the accounts of over 2.41 lakh farmers affected by crop damage due to excessive rainfall and floods in August 2025, under the Agriculture Input Subsidy Scheme.
Addressing the event, Nitish Kumar said the projects launched include key initiatives of the Panchayati Raj Department, the Building Construction Department, and the Agriculture Department.
He congratulated the concerned departments, stating that the projects will provide fresh impetus to the state’s development and directly benefit people, thereby improving their quality of life.

Earlier on September 29, Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, on Monday inaugurated and laid down the foundation stone for 20,658 development projects worth Rs 11,921 crore at Sankalp, 1 Anne Marg, marking one of the state’s largest-ever single-day development drives.
The projects include 16,065 public amenities and development projects with an investment of Rs 7,805 crore for sectors such as roads, water, health and rural infrastructure, and 4,593 projects worth Rs 4,116 crore were inaugurated across various departments to strengthen social and administrative facilities.
