Patna, August 16, 2025: Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, on Saturday claimed that his government has successfully created 50 lakh jobs and employment opportunities under the Saat Nishchay Part 2 (Seven Point Program Part 2) launched in 2020.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Nitish Kumar said, “In the sequence of the announcement made under Saat Nishchay Program Part 2 in 2020, our government has fulfilled the target of providing government jobs and employment to 50 lakh youth. Now our government has set a target of providing jobs and employment to 1 crore youths in the next 5 years.”
The Nitish Kumar government is promoting industries:
Nitish Kumar stressed that the government is promoting both industrial development and self-employment by providing multiple facilities to entrepreneurs.
He announced a special economic package for industries, under which incentives for capital subsidy, interest subsidy and DST reimbursement will be doubled.
To boost industrialization, Nitish Kumar said land would be arranged in every district, while industries creating higher employment will be given land free of cost.
He also assured that disputes related to allotting industrial lands would be resolved.
All these facilities will be given to entrepreneurs setting up industries in the next six months,” he added.

Apart from financial and land support, Kumar said additional provisions would be introduced to ease industrial setup in the state, with a detailed notification to be issued separately.
Highlighting the broader objective, he said, “The aim of this initiative is to promote industries in Bihar further, ensure that the youth are skilled and self-reliant and provide them with maximum employment so that their future is secure.”
