Bihar government is facing criticism of rising crime rates in the state.

Patna July 18: Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, has called a high-level meeting to address this issue of rising crime in Bihar on July 19.

Law and order meeting:

The meeting will be held in his office cum residence at 1 Anne Marg in Patna in which top officials of Bihar police, chief secretary and other officials will be present. DMs, SSPs and SPs of all districts will also join through video conferencing.

The government is also worried about the increasing crime incidents in Bihar. After a long time, Nitish Kumar has called a high-level meeting on law and order. He will take reports from the DMs and SPs of all the districts and will also give strict instructions to improve the law and order situation in their respective districts.

Opposition targeting NDA government:

Due to the continuous incidents of murder, kidnapping, robbery and other crimes in Bihar, the opposition is constantly trying to corner the state government. Many incidents of murder and violence have taken place since the Lok Sabha elections. The session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly is also starting from July 22, in such a situation the government wants to make all its preparations.

Despite the Nitish Kumar government has reinstated police personnel on a large scale. They have also been provided with modern facilities. Still, the law and order situation remains problematic in the state.

A high-level meeting on law and order will be held at the Chief Minister’s residence in the second half at 4:00 pm and preparations for it are also underway.

Recently, many crime incidents have taken place in Bihar. The leader of the opposition Tejashwi Yadav regularly is releasing crime bulletins and other opposition leaders are putting serious question marks on the ruling NDA government.

CPI-ML national general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya also slammed the Nitish Kumar government on this issue.

Cabinet meeting on July 19:

The Chief Minister has also called a cabinet meeting on July 19. A meeting will be held in the Cabinet Hall of the Chief Secretariat at 11:30 am, in which many agendas will be approved.
