Patna, June 10, 2024: A day after Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister for the third consecutive term, JDU MLC and spokesperson Neeraj Kumar launched a sharp attack on RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, accusing him of promoting dynastic politics in the party and within the parliamentary setup.
Neeraj Kumar sarcastically targeted Lalu Prasad Yadav:
Neeraj Kumar said Lalu Prasad Yadav should immediately appoint his daughter and newly elected Patliputra MP Misa Bharti as the leader of the RJD parliamentary party in the Lok Sabha.
“For Lalu Prasad Yadav, the family always comes first. The top posts in RJD go only to his family members. Since Misa Bharti is from Patliputra, she should be made the leader of the RJD parliamentary board,” Kumar said.
He added sarcastically, “Misa Bharti is your daughter, and no one understands better than you that daughters are always the lifesavers.”
Dynastic politics had been one of the key issues raised by the NDA during the Lok Sabha campaign, with repeated attacks on Lalu Prasad Yadav and his children.

In the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections, Misa Bharti won from Patliputra, while the RJD improved its overall tally in Bihar by securing four seats.
Aurangabad—Abhay Kushwaha, Buxar—Sudhakar Singh, Jahanaabad—Surendra Yadav, Patliputra—Misa Bharti.
This marks a significant improvement for the party, which had failed to win a single seat in Bihar in the 2019 general elections.
