Neeraj Kumar criticized Tejashwi Yadav for centralizing power in his own hand and side-lining Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Patna January 31, 2025: Janata Dal (United) MLC and chief spokesperson Neeraj Kumar has launched a sharp attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav, accusing him of consolidating all party power in his own hands while side-lining RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Neeraj Kumar shared a video to target Tejashwi Yadav:

On Friday, Neeraj Kumar shared a video from Tejashwi Yadav’s ongoing Karyakarta Darshan Sah Samvad Yatra, in which the RJD leader is screened stating that they will distribute party tickets based on candidates’ merit and strength rather than recommendation from any leader.

Using this footage to back his claim, Neeraj Kumar remarked, “Tejashwi Yadav himself admits that he will not distribute tickets based on any leader’s recommendations. This clearly indicates that he has taken full control of the party’s decision-making, rendering Lalu Prasad Yadav powerless in ticket distribution.”

Neeraj Kumar further alleged that Tejashwi had effectively side-lined his father, saying, “Lalu Prasad Yadav has been asked to staying at his Mahuabagh farmhouse, counting construction raw material. He has become a glaring example of how Tejashwi has stripped him of authority.”

Mahuabagh is a property owned by the RJD chief, where he frequently retreats for relaxation.

Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav is actively touring Bihar as part of his Karyakarta Darshan Sah Samvad Yatra, gathering grassroots feedback to strategize for the 2025 assembly elections. On Thursday, he visited Siwan and set to travel to Saran, Vaishali, Nalanda, Nawada, and Patna in the coming days.

RJD has given power to Tejashwi Yadav to take decision in a national executive meeting held in Patna on January 18:  

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has given Tejashwi Yadav the authority to make decisions regarding the party’s strategy for the upcoming Bihar assembly election scheduled to be held later this year.

In a resolution passed during the RJD’s national executive committee meeting in Patna on January 18, it was decided that Tejashwi Yadav would be responsible for making decisions on internal party matters, including party tickets and other key issues.
