Patna September 5: JP Nadda, the National President of BJP and Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, is set to start a two-day visit to Bihar on Friday.

Dilip Jaiswal, the state president of BJP Bihar, said the party has made a preparation to welcome the national president in grand style. He will inaugurate 5 facilities of existing medical colleges of Bihar in his two-day visit.

JP Nadda will arrive at Patna Airport via Vistara Airlines flight at 9.30. The senior leaders and workers of the BJP have been asked to reach Patna airport to welcome him. He will go to the government guest house and then meet with the Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence at 1 Anne Marg.

The two-day visit of the BJP national president has great significance as he will hold a meeting of BJP leaders and party workers in Patna ahead of the forthcoming assembly election of Bihar 2025.

As part of his official engagement, JP Nadda, after the meeting with the Bihar chief minister, will go to the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences for the inauguration of a new facility.

He will travel to Bhagalpur for the inauguration of a hostel at Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital. He will then proceed to the Gaya for the inauguration of another hostel and a multispecialty hospital.

Returning to Patna in the evening, JP Nadda will hold a crucial meeting with BJP leaders and workers of Bihar, where the focus will be on countering the upcoming Yatra of Tejashwi Yadav, set to begin on September 10. This meeting is expected to shape the BJP strategy as it prepares for the 2025 assembly elections.

After staying overnight in Patna, he will head to Darbhanga for the inspection of the proposed site for the construction of AIIMS Darbhanga.

The Narendra Modi government had approved the construction of Darbhanga AIIMS a few weeks ago. The new AIIMS in Darbhanga will be a major boost to healthcare in North Bihar, complementing the existing AIIMS in Patna. Nadda will also attend a program in Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur before concluding his tour and returning to New Delhi on Saturday evening.
