JP Nadda arrived in Patna to inaugurate five new health facilities.

Patna, September 6: JP Nadda, the BJP National President and Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, arrived in Patna on Friday morning.

His flight to Vistara Airlines landed at Patna airport around 10.30, greeted by a large number of party leaders including BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief MInister Samrat Choudhary, Vijay Sinha, Mandal Pandey, Rituraj Sinha, Ajay Alok and others at the airport.

JP Nadda’s two-day visit to Bihar is aimed at energizing party workers ahead of Bihar assembly election 2025.

Rituraj Sinha, the national secretary of BJP, stated, “The presence of our national president of the party will uplift the morale of the workers in Bihar and will give great momentum to the membership program of the party.”

During his visit, JP Nadda will inaugurate five key healthcare projects, including an eye hospital at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS) in Patna.

Apart from that, he will go to Bhagalpur to inaugurate Rs 200 crore multi-specialty hospital in Bhagalpur’s Barari locality.

This hospital is expected to relieve the strain on the Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital Bhagalpur, offering OPD services in neurology, nephrology, cardiology, plastic surgery and 3 more specialties.

The facility is anticipated to benefit people from East Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand.

After Bhagalpur, he will then proceed to Gaya to inaugurate another multi-specialty hospital in Gaya, also built for Rs 200 crore. Local authorities have ramped up security, with police personnel deployed at these sites.

Nadda is scheduled to return to Patna on Friday evening for an organizational meeting.

After an overnight stay in Patna, he will go to Darbhanga to inspect the AIIMS construction site in Darbhanga and conclude his tour with the inauguration of another hospital in Muzaffarpur. EOM.
