Jitan Ram Manjhi hits back at Tejashwi Yadav over voter list revision issue.

Patna, June 28, 2025: Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Saturday strongly countered Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav’s allegations regarding the ongoing voter list revision in Bihar, asserting that only those fearing exposure of bogus voters are raising objections.

Speaking to reporters in Patna, Manjhi said: “We know in which areas bogus voters have been made, somewhere 25,000 and somewhere up to 30,000. When such fake names will be removed, only those who are wrong will be afraid. If the opposition has the truth, then why fear?”

Jitan Ram Manjhi sharply attacked Tejashwi Yadav:

Criticizing Tejashwi’s symbolic distribution of pens to students, Manjhi remarked: “Tejashwi Yadav says he is distributing pens, while he is actually distributing swords. His father used to oil sticks, and Tejashwi should follow in his footsteps.”

Rejecting Tejashwi’s demand for 20 months of power to prove his governance, Manjhi said: “This demand is wrong. He is not going to get anything.”

Reminder of Jungle Raj:

Jitan Ram Manjhi accused the RJD of fostering ‘jungle raj’ during Lalu Prasad Yadav’s tenure, stating: “The people of Bihar know what the situation was during his rule. Even today, RJD people have occupied 70% of the land, and most of the crimes happening in the state are committed by their people. If they get power for even 10 months, the situation in Bihar will worsen.”

On LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan’s remarks about ‘compromise with self-respect,’ Manjhi noted that Chirag is working to strengthen the NDA and that seat sharing will be decided by the NDA leadership.

Jitan Ram Manjhi’s statements come amid intensifying political debates in Bihar over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists and preparations for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
