JDU releases list of 40 star campaigners for Bihar Assembly election 2025.

Patna, October 17, 2025: The Janata Dal (United) (JDU)on Friday released a list of 40 star campaigners for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections 2025, officially kicking off its campaign in the state.

The list has been submitted to the Election Commission of India.

Nitish Kumar is on the list of JDU’s star campaigner list:

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar tops the list, followed by senior party leaders Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Ashok Chaudhary, Sanjay Jha, Nikhil Mandal, Kaushalendra Kumar, and Neeraj Kumar.

Prominent women leaders, including Meena Yadav, Kavita Singh, Kahkashan Parveen, and Lovely Anand, are also among the campaigners.

According to a letter signed by JDU National General Secretary Afaq Ahmed Khan, these leaders will spearhead the party’s campaign across Bihar’s assembly constituencies. Many of the star campaigners are also contesting candidates in the election.

Under the NDA seat-sharing arrangement, the JDU is contesting 1010 seats. The BJP will also field candidates on 1010 seats, while Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) will contest 29, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s HAM-S will contest 6, and Upendra Kushwaha’s Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) will contest 6 seats.

The JDU’s list also features Ramnath Thakur, Vijandra Prasad Yadav, Umesh Singh Kushwaha, Shravan Kumar, Manish Kumar Verma, Afaq Ahmed Khan, Saryu Rai, Deveshchandra Thakur, Dileshawr Kamat, Dinesh Chandra Yadav, Harshvardhan Singh, Arun Kumar, and Rampreet Mandal.

Others on the list include Dr. Alok Kumar Suman, Sunil Kumar, Madan Sahani, Ratnesh Sada, Lalan Kumar Saraf, Sanjay Singh, Neeraj Kumar, E. Sunil Kumar, Khalid Anwar, Ravindra Prasad Singh, Reena Yadav, Chandeshwar Prasad Chandravanshi, Ram Kumar Sharma, Ramesh Kushwaha, Md. Nematullah, Chandan Kumar Singh, Bharti Mehta, and Dr. Shweta Vishwas.
