The list features several prominent names, including Anant Kumar Singh, who has been fielded from Mokama.

Interestingly, Singh had already filed his nomination on Tuesday, a day before the official announcement. He had contested the last assembly election on the RJD ticket.

JDU has given tickets to several ministers:

Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Water Resource Minister and close aide of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, will contest from Sarairanjan in Samastipur district.

JDU National General Secretary and former RJD leader Shyam Rajak has been nominated from Phulwarisharif in Patna district.

Party’s state president Umesh Singh Kushwaha will contest from Mahanar in Vaishali district.

Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar was given a ticket from Bhore, and Amrendra Pratap Singh from Kuchaikot in Gopalganj district.

Party has given Ramanand Mandal to contest from Suryagarha—a seat earlier expected to go to Prahalad Yadav, an RJD rebel MLA who supported Nitish Kumar during the February 2024 floor test.

Another notable name is Komal Singh, the daughter of LJPRV MP Veena Devi. JDU has given a ticket to contest from Gaighat in Muzaffarpur.

JDU is contesting on 101 seats:

Under the NDA seat-sharing arrangement, JDU and BJP are contesting on 101 seats each, while LJPRV on 29 seats, HAM on 6 seats and RLM on 6 seats.
