JD (U) MLC criticized the BJP MP on his new union territory proposal.
Patna July 27: JD (U) MLC Neeraj Kumar claimed his party does not support BJP MP Nishikant Dubey’s proposal to form a new union territory based on population demographics.
BJP MP proposal for new union territory: The statement of JD (U) MLC came a day after Nishikant Dubey, during the Lok Sabha proceedings on Friday, proposed to form a new union territory comprising some districts of Bihar, West Bengal and Jharkhand. He justified this by claiming that the Muslim population is rapidly increasing and the tribal populations are decreasing.
Nishikant Dubey during the discussion in the Lok Sabha on Friday said that these districts should be combined to form a union territory.
Dubey, the BJP MP from Godda in Jharkhand, pointed out that the tribal populations are decreasing due to Bangladeshi intruders in districts like Malda, Murshidabad in West Bengal, Santhal Pargana in Jharkhand and Araria, Katihar and Kishanganj in Bihar.
JD (U) MLC criticized Godda MP: Neeraj Kumar criticized the BJP MP for his proposal for forming a new union territory based on population demographics.
“JD (U) cannot support the stand of Nishikant Dubey’s population theory for the Muslim. He should at least respect the Prime Minister who made several statements on this subject during the rallies of the Lok Sabha election. He pointed out that the population can be controlled only through awareness. Our CM Nitish Kumar also believes that educating women and raising awareness is the key to population control,” Kumar said.
JD (U MLC advocated for the Bangladesh model of population control: Neeraj Kumar praised the Bangladesh model of population control. He said that this model has a worldwide acceptance.
