Jagadanand Singh released a video to target Nitish Kumar.
Patna, September 13: Jagadanand Singh, the state president of RJD sharply attacked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, accusing him of lacking credibility due to his frequent political shifts throughout his career. He was also requested the RJD leaders to make alliance in 2022.
“Everyone knows how Nitish Kumar had requested RJD National President Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Yadav in 2022 during the formation of the Grand Alliance Government. We have video footage of it which everyone watched. During the meeting of the RJD legislative party, he requested with folded hands to save his political existence and his party,” Singh said.
RJD also released a video of the event when Nitish Kumar held a microphone in hand while standing on the dais and turned towards former chief minister Rabri Devi with folded hands. Jagadanand Singh and Tejashwi Yadav are also visible in the video.
Jagadanand Singh, escalated his criticism of Nitish Kumar, emphasizing his allegations of opportunistic politics and lack of loyalty.
“Nitish Kumar, after being pushed to zero by the BJP, urged an alliance with the RJD by making strong promises. Nitish Kumar had made a declaration in the Vidhan Sabha, where he stated “Mitti Me Mil Jayege, Par BJP Ke Sath Nahi Jayege” (I would rather be reduced to dust than go with the BJP). This statement was made when Nitish Kumar rejoined the Grand Alliance vowing never to return to the BJP,” Singh said.
Jagadanand Singh also criticized the BJP for forgetting the allegations made by Nitish Kumar.
“BJP, despite the allegations made against it by Nitish Kumar during his time in the Grand Alliance, the saffron leaders forgot all those comments and formed the alliance again for power and personal benefits,” Singh said.
Singh also said that the RJD has always been against rioters and fanatics, contrasting its stance with Nitish Kumar who has alleged political opportunism.
“This video has exposed Nitish Kumar’s true political behavior. It is an example of how Nitish Kumar changes alliances for his own survival, with the BJP and JD (U) both complicit in this cycle of convenience-based politics,” Singh said.
