Patna, May 8, 2024: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has begun extensive preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Patna on May 12, which will mark the first-ever roadshow by a Prime Minister in the city’s history.

The event, aimed at galvanizing voters in Patna Sahib and Patliputra Lok Sabha constituencies, is expected to witness massive public participation.

BJP’s sitting MPs and candidates Ravi Shankar Prasad (Patna Sahib) and Ram Kripal Yadav (Patliputra) will accompany the Prime Minister during the roadshow.

Prime Minister’s roadshow will start from the Dak Bungalow Chowk:

Sharing details, BJP state president Samrat Choudhary said, “It will be the first time that a roadshow of the Prime Minister will be held in Patna. On the evening of May 12, he will move through Bailey Road, and its starting point is Dak Bungalow Chowk area, then moves toward SP Verma Road, Kadam Kuan, Thakurbari Road, Bakarganj, and will culminate at Udyog Bhawan.”

Samrat Choudhary said the event will showcase the Prime Minister‘s decade-long work for the country’s development.

“The roadshow will send a strong message to the entire state. In the last 10 years, PM Modi has worked to protect the Constitution, strengthen the reservation system, and make the country prosperous. The program will reflect all this,” he said.

The BJP state chief added that Mission 2024 is a major challenge for the party, which has set a target of winning all 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar.

“PM Modi has already addressed five rallies in the state. The campaign is being intensified, and preparations for the roadshow are in full swing. Workers from across Bihar are being mobilized,” he said.

BJP leaders claimed the PM’s roadshow will become historic:

Ram Kripal Yadav, BJP’s Patliputra candidate, called the upcoming event historic.

The people of Patliputra will reach in lakhs to participate in the PM’s road show.

Echoing similar enthusiasm, Ravi Shankar Prasad, the Patna Sahib candidate, said, “I was going through the history of Patna, and no Prime Minister has ever held a roadshow here before. We are working hard to ensure it becomes a grand Success.”

The Prime Minister’s roadshow is expected to be one of the biggest campaign events in Bihar ahead of the final phases of the Lok Sabha election 2024, as the BJP seeks to consolidate support in the state’s capital region.
