Giriraj Singh blamed Congress top leaders over Muslim population growth, Tejashwi retaliated.

Patna May 9: Union minister and BJP candidate of Begusarai Giriraj Singh expressed concern about the increasing population of Muslims and the decreasing population of Hindus. Giriraj Singh targeted Congress regarding this and alleged that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi wanted to make this country an Islamic nation.

The statement of Giriraj Singh came soon after the report of the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council comes in public domain. As per the report, it has been told that in the last 65 years, the population of Muslims in India has increased by 43% whereas Hindus have declined by 7.82%. This data has been taken between 1950 and 2015. The PM’s Economic Advisory Council has released this report after studying the demographic changes over 65 years in 167 countries around the world.

“This is a big conspiracy in which Congress has played the biggest role of appeasement since independence. The issue of vote jihad is coming to light in which Muslim religious leaders are deciding which candidate to vote for. They did Love Jihad, Land Jihad and Vote Jihad in this country. Since 1947, Congress kept handing over the land to Muslims which should have been given to Hindus,” Singh said.

He also gave the reasons behind the increasing number of Muslims and said: “After 1971, Congress has made not only Bihar but the entire country a Dharamshala and pasture for Bangladeshi infiltrators and Rohingya Muslims for vote bank. There is still time to wake up and control this by making a complete law.”

“There is a conspiracy to eliminate the followers of Sanatan Dharma. Congress is giving reservations to Muslims through the back door. The ratio of the decreasing population of Hindus and the increasing population of Muslims (0-14 years) is very high. There is a difference of 1.25 percent between the fertility rate of Hindus and Muslims. This difference is telling all about their intention,” he said.

Reacting to it, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav raised questions on the report of the increasing Muslim population in the country. He said the census was to be held within the country in 2021, which has not been done yet. Tejashwi Yadav has termed this report as spreading hatred.

“On what basis has this report come? It has been said in this report that the number of Muslims in India has increased compared to Hindus. It is a report to spread hatred in the society,” Yadav said.
