
EC registered 24.41% of voting till 11 am in Bihar.
Patna May 7: The voting is increasing up in the five seats of Bihar. The election commission registered 24.41% voting in till 11 am on Tuesday.
The voting for Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura and Khagaria is currently underway and people are seen in large numbers.
A maximum of 25.98% voting registered in Supaul followed by 25.97% in Araria and 24.49% in Khagaria Lok Sabha constituencies. The election commission has registered 23.31% voting in Madhepura and 22.39% in Jhanjharpur Lok Sabha constituency.
A total of 54 candidates are in the fray of five seats in the third phase. Among them, 35 candidates are from different political parties and 19 are independent candidates.The voting remains peaceful in Bihar so far.
Sanjay Kumar Jha, the Rajya Sabha MP of JD-U cast his vote in Jhanjharpur, Shahnawaz Hussain, former industry minister of the Bihar government used his voting rights in Supaul. Madhepura DM Vijay Prakash Meena along with his family used the voting rights on Tuesday morning.
