Patna, August 28: Dilip Jaiswal, the state president of BJP Bihar sharply attacked RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and compared him with Angulimal Daku (A notorious dacoit) on Wednesday.

While interacting with the media persons in Patna, Dilip Jaiswal said: “Those who “gave birth” to crime in Bihar are now concerned about it.”

Jaiswal alleged that when Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Chief Minister of Bihar, the criminals were directly connected with the Chief Minister’s residence.

“Now, when Lalu Prasad Yadav is out of power, he is presenting himself as a saint. The Angulimal Daku has now become a saint. People of Bihar would believe Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav sincerely if they took a bath in the Ganga River. At present, 70% of crimes committed by people in Bihar are connected with RJD,” Jaiswal said.

Dilip Jaiswal also criticized former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav and challenged his religious practice. 

“Tejashwi Yadav has not visited a temple even once in his life. If the leaders of Tejashwi Yadav are not corrupt then come with me in the temple and take oath. Tejashwi Yadav should reveal how clean their leaders are,” Jaiswal said.

The NDA government of Bihar is feeling the heat due to the sharp rise of crime incidents in the last couple of months especially after the Lok Sabha election.

Tejashwi Yadav has been particularly very critical of the double engine government led by Nitish Kumar in Bihar, repeatedly highlighting crime statistics to attack the Nitish Kumar government.
