Devendra Prasad Yadav joined Jan Suraj in Patna.

Patna, August 27: Devendra Prasad Yadav, the former union minister joined the Jan Suraj campaign in the presence of Prashant Kishor in Patna on Tuesday.

Prashant Kishor was looking jubilant as he welcomed Devendra Prasad Yadav in the Jan Suraj campaign.

An event called the Samajwadi Samagam program was held in Patna’s Gyan Bhawan where Devendra Prasad Yadav and his supporters joined the Jan Suraj.

During the occasion, he expressed satisfaction with joining Jan Suraj, he criticized the current socialist leaders, stating, “The so-called socialist leaders garland Ram Manohar Lohia and give opportunities to their own sons and daughters. We are joining Prashant Kishor because he thinks of equality in society, which matches the socialist ideology. Therefore, by joining Jan Suraj, we are once again reviving socialism,” Yadav said.

“We are connecting every honest person and leader with Jan Suraj. It will include all those persons who want to contribute to changing the existing system of Bihar. Today lakhs of people are joining Jan Suraj; this is the real strength and potential of Jan Suraj,” PK said.

“Today, former Union Minister and Samajwadi leader Devendra Prasad Yadav along with his colleagues joined Jan Suraj,” he said.

Prashant Kishor, who has been actively working to build a broad-based movement for change in Bihar, has announced plans to formally establish Jan Suraj as a political party on October 2 this year to contest the assembly election of Bihar in 2025.
