Roorkee, March 10, 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) successfully hosted COMET’25, an extraordinary fusion of knowledge, competition, and inspiration.
Over two action-packed days, the fest brought together industry leaders, aspiring professionals, and students eager to push their limits.

Embodying the theme “Think Beyond, Lead Beyond,” the event encouraged participants to embrace innovation, develop strategic leadership, and take charge of their future.
The fest commenced with a grand opening ceremony graced by Pankaj Kumar Director (Production), ONGC, Prof. K.K. Pant, Director, IIT Roorkee, and Prof. Rajat Rastogi, Prof-Incharge, Career Development Cell, IIT Roorkee. Their insightful addresses underscored the importance of academia-industry collaboration and innovation.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in a meticulously curated workshop on Project Management, and Ecopreneurs, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application. The competitive spirit soared with dynamic contests such as Mockup, Enigma, Escape, 3-Minute Thesis, Connect X, Strategy Sphere, Algo-vision, Power-Play, Draft, and Ad savvy, Challenging participants in business strategy, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
