CM Nitish Kumar claimed he would not repeat past 2 mistakes by joining the Grand Alliance.

Patna November 15, 2024: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar made a candid admission about his political past, reaffirming his commitment to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

The statement of Nitish Kumar came during the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Dharti Aaba Birsa Munda in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jamui on Friday.

Nitish Kumar admitted that joining the Grand Alliance twice in the past was a mistake. He clarified that the decisions were influenced by internal misjudgements within his party but emphasized that such errors would not be repeated.

“We will stay with NDA for our entire life. There were mistakes in between, some people from our own party made it twice. We have now decided that we will not go anywhere,” Kumar said.

Nitish Kumar highlighted his enduring relationship with the NDA, tracing it back to the era of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 1995.

He assured his unwavering loyalty to the alliance moving forward, stating:

“Now we will never go here and there.” Nitish Kumar commended Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and contributions to Bihar and the nation: “PM Modi is working for the entire country, He has done a lot for Bihar, That is why I will not go anywhere now.”

As CM Nitish Kumar expressed his commitment to the NDA, PM Modi was seen smiling, reflecting a positive rapport between the two leaders.
