Patna, September 4, 2025: Union Food Processing Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan launched a sharp attack on the EJD and Congress during his address at the Nav Sankalp Mahasabha held at MIT College Ground on Thursday.

Chirag Paswan alleged that the opposition leaders do not have respect for women, recalling that first his mother was insulted, and now even PM Narendra Modi’s late mother was targeted.

Chirag Paswan says the upcoming assembly poll will decide the future:

Chirag Paswan told the massive gathering that the upcoming assembly battle will decide the direction in which Bihar will move for the next five years.

Calling it an election for Bihar’s future, he urged people not to repeat past mistakes.

He blamed decades of Congress and RJD rule for Bihar’s poor state of development, recalling the dark days of the 90s when, according to him, Bihar was pushed into backwardness.

“They come during polls with tall promises, but why has Bihar not developed despite being in power for so long? Even today, people shudder remembering that era,” he said.

Chirag Paswan also said he was proud to be a Bihari and rejected the insult of being called a second-class Bihari.

Countering RJD’s MY equation, Chirag presented his own formula, declaring, “My equation of M-Y stands for Mahila (Women) and Yuva (Youth). These are the real strengths of Bihar, and my fight is to empower them.”

Show of strength in Muzaffarpur:

The rally witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, with the MIT campus echoing with slogans such as “Bihar Ka CM Kaisa Ho Chirag Paswan Jaisa Ho”.

Prominent party leaders, including Lok Sabha MP of Jamui Arun Bharti, Vaishali MP Veena Devi, Samastipur MP Shambhavi Choudhary, Khagaria MP Rajesh Kumar and others, were present. Chirag Paswan declared that despite several conspiracies to weaken him, he has remained steadfast.

“Opposition leaders were conspiring against me many times, but I never broke down, nor will I ever. I have pledged to make Bihar a developed state, and I will continue fighting until that goal is achieved,” he thundered, drawing loud applause from the crowd.
