Cabinet meeting of Nitish Kumar government on Tuesday, important decisions expected.
Patna November 19, 2024: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has scheduled a cabinet meeting for Tuesday at 4:00 PM in the Cabinet Hall of the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
The meeting is expected to deliberate on and approve significant proposals related to various government departments.

In the last cabinet meeting held on November 14, the government approved 38 agendas, including a 3% increase in dearness allowance for state employees was sanctioned, and new rules for Social Media and Online Media were approved.
Besides, the state government had also approved urban development in Patna, to form a separate team under the Patna DM to address encroachment in urban areas.
Approval for the creation of 153 new posts in Patna to strengthen district police including 3 Deputy Superintendent of Police posts, 3 Police Inspector posts, 9 Police Sub-Inspector posts, 18 Assistant Police Sub-Inspector posts and 120 Constable posts.
Acquisition of 50.5 acres of land at Punauradham in Sitamarhi for tourism initiatives, revised state contribution amounts under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana scheme.
These moves highlight the Bihar government’s multi-pronged strategy to address critical areas like health, housing, tourism, law and order, and employment in the run-up to the elections.
Nitish Kumar promised for 12 lakh jobs:
Nitish Kumar has previously committed to providing 12 lakh government jobs before the upcoming assembly elections.
Of these, 7 lakh positions remain to be filled, and decisions regarding these are likely to feature prominently.
Significant proposals from health, education, urban development, and tourism departments are anticipated.
This meeting is set to have substantial implications for governance and development initiatives in Bihar.
