BSEB released D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2024 results: 79.01% candidates passed.

Patna, November 26, 2025: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Wednesday released the results of the D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Examination 2024.

BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore announced that 3,23,313 candidates appeared for the exam, of which 2,55,468 qualified, recording an overall pass percentage of 79.01%.

Congratulating the successful candidates, Kishore urged them to promptly move ahead with the enrollment process.

BSEB Chairman mentioned 306 training institutes for candidates:  

With the declaration of results, qualified candidates can now seek admission to 306 D.El.Ed. Training institutes in Bihar include 60 government institutes and 246 private institutes.

Kishore stated that the demand for the D.El.Ed. The program is increasing every year, as the two-year training course is essential for becoming a primary school teacher in Bihar.

Successful candidates will be allowed to select the institute of their choice through an online system.

“Candidate will be able to choose institutions according to their convenience. Priority will be given to ensuring easy access, especially for those from rural areas,” said the BSEB chairman.

Candidates can obtain and submit forms online between November 29 to December 5, 2025.

During this period, candidates must upload all required documents and list their preferred institutions.

The entire admission process will be conducted digitally to ensure transparency and ease of access.

STET, Competency Exam result date announced:

Along with D.El.Ed., the BSEB has also shared updates on other major examinations, including the Competency Examination 4 result in the first week of December and the STET result in the second week of December 2025.

The STET examination concluded on November 15, and the provisional answer key has already been released.

The BSEB chairman said, “If any candidate finds an error in the provisional answer key, they can submit objections on the board’s official portal until November 29. Our expert panel will review all objections before releasing the final answer key. The STET result will be based on the final key.”
