Patna, September 4, 2025: With the Bihar assembly polls drawing closer, the BJP has shifted into top gear.

In a high-level meeting held in Delhi on Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held an in-depth discussion with the core committee of the Bihar BJP to finalize the roadmap for the poll campaign.

BJP will form a poll campaign committee:

During the meeting, it was decided that a special committee will soon be constituted to sharpen the election campaign and prepare the party’s manifesto.

Dilip Jaiswal, the state president of the party, informed that leaders in charge from other states will be given responsibility for seven assembly constituencies each, where they will remain stationed and oversee local election strategy.

The process of selecting potential candidates will also be expedited so that the party can release its candidate list quickly once seat-sharing within the NDA is finalized.

Amit Shah’s message of unity and outreach:

Amit Shah reportedly gave clear instructions to state leaders, emphasizing that the unity of the NDA must be maintained.

The NDA workers’ conference should be made more effective and large-scale, and the development works carried out under Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar should be highlighted in every household.

Shah also asked the BJP leaders to strongly counter the opposition parties’ narratives through direct communication with the public.

Seat sharing left to central leadership:

On the contentious issue of seat distribution, according to the sources, it will be decided by the central leadership of the NDA.

“The focus of this meeting was only on election strategy and campaign pace,” said a senior leader of the BJP.

The meeting witnessed the participation of both Deputy CMs Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh, Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai, State organizational Secretary Bhikhubhai Dalsaniya, Regional organizational minister Nagendra Kumar and several other MPs from Bihar.

The meeting made it clear that the BJP is now not only focused on strengthening the organization but also on speeding up candidate selection and projecting NDA unity.

With Amit Shah at the helm of strategy, the BJP looks set to bring its combined strength with allies onto the ground in Bihar.
