Patna, October 16, 2025: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released a list of 40 star campaigners for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections, featuring top national and regional leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
The list signals the BJP’s intent to deploy its full political strength in Bihar as part of the NDA’s campaign strategy.
The elections will be held in two phases—on November 6 and November 11—with 121 seats voting in the first phase and 122 seats in the second. The results will be declared on November 14.
BJP named Union Ministers and the Chief Ministers of various states in the list:
Apart from PM Modi and Amit Shah, the list includes BJP National President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Prominent chief ministers such as Yogi Adityanath (Uttar Pradesh), Devendra Fadnavis (Maharashtra), Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam), Mohan Yadav (Madhya Pradesh), and Rekha Gupta (Delhi) will also campaign in Bihar.

Other key names include Union Ministers Giriraj Singh, Smriti Irani, CR Patil, and Nityanand Rai, along with Bihar Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, and State BJP President Dilip Kumar Jaiswal.
Veteran leaders Radha Mohan Singh, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Nand Kishore Yadav, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, and Sanjay Jaiswal have also been listed among the campaigners.
Film stars are also on the campaign trail:
Adding star power to the list, Bhojpuri film actors and BJP MPs Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kishan, and Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ will also canvass for the NDA candidates.
With the BJP and its allies having finalized their candidates while the Grand Alliance remains divided over seat-sharing, the political battle in Bihar is heating up ahead of polling.
