Prashant Kishor criticized PM Modi’s rally in Madhubani and questioned the status of the Rs 1.25 lakh crore.

Patna, April 23, 2025: Jan Suraj Party founder and political strategist Prashant Kishor has sharply criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming rally in Madhubani, claiming that the crowd for the event is being mobilized using resources that ultimately belong to the poor people of Bihar.

Speaking at public meetings in Pirpainti and Sultanganj on Wednesday, Kishor questioned the transparency of PM Modi’s 2015 promise of a Rs 1.25 lakh crore package for Bihar.

“If the BJP wants to hold a rally, they should use funds from their own party account, not from the pockets of the poor. The people of Bihar deserve to know has the Rs 1.25 lakh crore announced in Ara in 2015 actually reached Bihar. If yes where has that money gone? Said Kishor.

Prashant Kishor criticized Nitish Kumar:

During his public address at Laxminarayan School in Pripainti, Kishor also launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, labeling him the “head of corruption in Bihar.

“In this state, even to make a ration card, officers demand Rs 2,000 in bribes and Rs 10,000 for a land receipt. This exploitation has made life miserable for ordinary citizens,” he alleged.

Prashant Kishor appealed to people to vote for their children:

Appealing to the people of Bhagalpur, Kishor urged them to vote for their children’s future, and not for corrupt politicians who have according to him, “looted” the state for decades.

“Next time, don’t vote for the leaders who robbed you. Vote to establish the rule of the people of Bihar,” he said, drawing applause from the large crowd.

Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj Yatra has been gaining momentum in Bihar with its grassroots outreach, directly challenging the ruling alliance and national parties ahead of the state elections.

Prashant Kishor was welcomed by a large number of people at Navgachiya Zero Mile, Bhagalpur Zero Mile, Sabour Mamlankha Bazaar, Khalagaon Bazar, Pripainti Bazaar, Karaili Bazar, Radhanagar Chowk etc.
