Bihar government transferred six IAS officers.
Patna, August 11: The Bihar government has undertaken a significant reshuffle, transferring numerous senior IAS officers including the divisional commissioner of Patna on Sunday.
A notification in this regard was issued from the General Administration department of the Bihar government where six officials were transferred.
Kumar Ravi, the 2005 batch IAS officer is appointed as secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat with an additional role as secretary of the Bihar State Building Construction Corporation.
Mayank Warvede, the 2001 batch IAS officer, was given the charge of the commissioner of the Patna Division. He is replacing Kumar Ravi. Warvede was earlier posted as a division commissioner of the Magadh Division.
Gaya DM Tyagarajan SM has been given the additional charge of Commissioner of Magadh Division.

The Bihar government has given additional charge of the Energy Department and Bihar State Power Holding Company to Pankaj Kumar Pal, 2002 batch IAS officer of the Indian Administrative Service and Secretary of Rural Development Department. Earlier, IAS officer Sanjeev Hans was in additional charge of the Energy Department, but after the corruption charge leveled on him, the government recently relieved him from the additional charge of the Electricity Department and called him back to the General Administration Department.
Vandana Preyashi, 2003 batch IAS officer of the Indian Administrative Service and Secretary of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, has been appointed Secretary of Industries Department. Along with this, the government has given him additional charge of Infrastructure Development Authority- AIDA.
Sandeep Paundrik, a 1993 batch IAS officer of the Indian Administrative Service and posted as Additional Chief Secretary in various departments including the Energy Department, has been sent on central deputation. Sanjeev Paundrik has been relieved after being made Secretary of the Steel Ministry.
