
Bihar government transferred KK Pathak from the education department
Patna June 13: The Bihar government transferred many IAS officers including the Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department KK Pathak on Thursday.
An official notification in this regard was issued from the general administration of the Bihar government on Thursday. As per the notification, KK Pathak has been given the charge of Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary S Siddharth has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department till further orders. KK Pathak was on leave for a month.
Ever since KK Pathak came to the Education Department, he has been in controversies. Recently, his dispute with the Raj Bhavan had escalated. Also, KK Pathak was angry about the holiday in schools.
After KK Pathak went on leave, a meeting of the Education Minister, Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department S Siddharth and Vice Chancellors were held in Raj Bhavan under the chairmanship of the Governor, then a meeting was also held in the Education Department and steps were taken towards solving the problems.
Due to the growing controversy, KK Pathak’s departure from the Education Department was considered certain and today he was removed from the Education Department.
Besides KK Pathak, many IAS officers were transferred by the Bihar government. Deepak Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, has been made Additional Chief Secretary of the Rural Works Department. Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Secretary of the Finance Department, has been made Principal Secretary of the Home Department. He will be in additional charge of the Monitoring Department till further orders. Pankaj Kumar Pal has been transferred and made Secretary of the Rural Development Department. Lokesh Kumar Singh has been given the charge of the Finance Department. Rajkumar, Director of the Social Welfare Department, has been made the DM of Bhojpur. Ashutosh Kumar Verma has been made the District Magistrate of Nawada. Bhojpur DM Mahendra Kumar has been transferred and made the Managing Director of South Bihar Power Distribution Company. Nawada District Magistrate Prashant Kumar has been made the Director of the Social Welfare Department. Let’s see how long the politics will remain in the field of edication.
