As soon as the proceedings began, opposition MLAs, wearing black bands, raised slogans in the House accusing the government of “finishing democracy.”

The opposition has been preparing to corner the government over law and order, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list, and unemployment during this session.

Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav expressed anger over the disruption, repeatedly urging the MLAs to maintain order.

He reprimanded RJD MLA Bhai Virendra, saying: “Sit down, is this all you have learnt?”
