Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav campaigned for Pawan Singh in Karakat.
Patna May 28: Ace Bhojpuri actor and singer Khesari Lal Yadav campaigned for prominent actor and independent candidate Pawan Singh in the Karakat Lok Sabha constituency on Tuesday.
While addressing a gathering in Bikram Inter college ground in Karakat Lok Sabha constituency, Khesari Lal Yadav said: “Pawan Singh is a voice of people and hence candidate like him is required here. He will become your voice in the parliament too. Hence, vote for him and send him to the parliament,” Yadav said.
Actor and singer Khesari Lal Yadav always said that Pawan Singh his elder brother appealed to the voters to vote for him.
“I praise the struggle of Pawan Singh. He has been helpful right from the beginning and has helped needy people a lot. The people of Karakat like this spirit. Pawan Singh wants to do a lot for Karakat. Make him MP by winning like a king,” Yadav said.
In a bid to see the popular Bhojpuri actors, a large number of the crowd assembled during the rally. At one point, they become out of control. The district police had a tough time controlling the crowd. The crowd became so huge that they broke the barricades came near the stage and climbed on the SUV of Khesari Lal Yadav to see him.
The voting in the Karakat Lok Sabha constituency will be held in the seventh phase on June 1. Upendra Kushwaha is contesting as an NDA candidate on the ticket of Rashtriya Lok Morcha on the Karakat seat while Rajaram Singh Kushwaha is contesting as a candidate of Grand Alliance on the ticket of CPI-ML. The presence of Pawan Singh made the contest triangular here.
