Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur’s granddaughter joined Jan Suraj.

Patna July 28: Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur’s granddaughter, Dr Jagriti, joined the Prashant Kishor-led Jan Suraj campaign on Sunday.

An organizational meeting of the Jan Suraj campaign was held at Patna’s Gyan Bhawan where the granddaughter of Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur, who is associated with Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences Patna, joined the campaign.

Besides her, two more prominent leaders Anand Mishra, the independent candidate of the Buxar Lok Sabha seat and former RJD MLC Professor Rambali Singh Chandravanshi also joined the Jan Suraj Campaign. During the induction of the trio, Prashant Kishor, the chief of the Jan Suraj Campaign was present at the venue. 

This was a significant development in light of Jan Suraj chief and notable poll strategist Prashant Kishor already announced to contest the assembly election 2025 of Bihar.

Dr Jagriti is a notable doctor of IGIMS. The granddaughter of Bharat Ratra Karpoori Thakur said that she is looking forward to the association with the Jan Suraj campaign. 

Anand Mishra, an Assam cadre IPS officer, recently took voluntary retirement to contest the Lok Sabha election from Buxar. Initially, he joined the BJP but contested the election independently after the party refused the ticket.

Professor Rambali Singh Chandravanshi is associated with Patna University’s Patna Science College. He was also an MLC of RJD in the past, belongs to the Extremely Backward Caste (EBC) community and a native of Arwal’s Baidrabad block.
