Ashwini Kumar Choubey claimed some leaders conspired against him during selection of candidates.

Patna: After BJP cancelled ticket to the former union minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey, he claimed that some leaders conspired against him during the selection of candidates. As a result, the party had not given him a ticket to contest the Lok Sabha election from Buxar.
A video of Choubey surfaced on the social media wherein he was doing a meeting in Patna. The meeting was held in Patna on April 8 wherein Ashwini Kumar Choubey was addressing his supporters, he said: “I don’t know what party understands or not understand about me but yes, some conspirators were there and they will be exposed after the election. Don’t worry about me. Everything will become fine. I will stay in Buxar and the nomination has not started yet.”
Earlier on April 8, Ashwini Kumar Choubey said he did not understand why the party had cancelled his ticket to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha election.
“Today, I am breaking the silence after 15 days. I do not understand why the party has cancelled my ticket. What was my fault that the party had not given me a ticket to contest the election,” Choubey said while interacting with the media persons in Patna on April 8.
BJP announced the names of 17 candidates of Bihar on March 24. It had cancelled the tickets of two sitting MPs including Ashwini Kumar Choubey.
