Arun Bharti claims Paras needs to change his heart.
Patna, August 20: Arun Bharti, the Jamui MP of Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPRV) claims Pashupati Kumar Paras needs to change his heart.
The statement of Arun Bharti came after former Union Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras adopted a soft stance toward Union Minister Chirag Paswan on Tuesday.
“His language has changed with time but I believe he needs to change his heart. If Paras genuinely desires unity within the family, his first step should be to reach out to Chirag Paswan and his mother (Reena Paswan) and talk to them,” Arun Bharti said while speaking to the media persons in Patna.
The tension between Pashupati Kumar Paras and Chirag Paswan escalated during the recent Lok Sabha election. Pashupati Kumar Paras was demanding 2 to 3 seats in Bihar including Hajipur but the central leadership of BJP not only refused but also allocated 5 seats to LJPRV, led by Chirag Paswan.
However, the stance of Pashupati Kumar Paras has notably softened especially after the result of the Lok Sabha election. He had congratulated Chirag Paswan for the victory on the social networking account X.
Recently, Pashupati Kumar Paras announced to contest all 243 seats in the 2025 Bihar assembly election, as well as upcoming by-polls of Tarari, Ramgarh, Belaganj and Imamganj.
Reacting to the by-poll on four seats, Arun Bharti said: “NDA comprises five political parties in Bihar and by-poll will be held on four seats of the assembly election. For me, whoever would contest the election as NDA candidates, I will go there for the campaign.”
Regarding the office in Patna, Arun Bharti addressed the ongoing dispute between Paras and Chirag Paswan’s factions over this issue.
“The Bihar government allotted the office to LJPRV and if anyone is not vacating it then it is a matter between him and the Bihar government. If the Bihar government would allot another office to LJPRV in another location, we have no problem with that,” Bharti said.

The Bihar government had allocated an office to the undivided LJP on the airport road. After the party was split into two parts, the office was claimed by Pashupati Kumar Paras. After the Lok Sabha election, that office was allotted to LJPRV.
