Patna, September 26, 2025: With the Bihar Assembly elections drawing near, Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a crucial election strategy meeting at the party’s state headquarters in Patna on Friday evening, attended by around 80 key leaders, including regional in-charges and top organizational officials.
During the meeting, 40 expatriate leaders were given the charge to look after 40 Lok Sabha constituencies of Bihar, which means one leader has been appointed as in-charge of one Lok Sabha constituency.
Amit Shah asked workers to fight for NDA victory:
According to party state president Dilip Jaiswal, Amit Shah urged leaders to rise above personal preferences and candidate considerations, stressing that the upcoming election is not about individuals but about the NDA’s victory.

He reportedly told leaders to fight like ordinary workers and to dedicate themselves fully to the campaign until polling day.
“This election will serve as a harbinger not only for Bihar but for the rest of the country,” Shah was quoted as saying, calling on workers to put aside all other engagements to focus on strengthening the organization and ensuring the NDA’s win.
Meeting attended by central and state leaders of the BJP:
The two-hour meeting was attended by the BJP’s central and state leadership, including Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, National Organizational General Secretary B. L. Santosh, Bihar State President Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Sinha, Bihar in-charge Vinod Tanavade, and Co-incharge Deepak Prakash.

Dilip Jaiswal has handed over the screening committee report to the Bihar election in-charge, Dharmendra Pradhan, during the meeting.
Earlier in the evening, Shah was welcomed by state leaders on his two-day visit to Bihar, his second in just eight days.
During his stay, he is expected to hold further consultations on candidate selection, booth-level management, and alliance coordination in Samastipur and Araria on Saturday before returning to Delhi.
