Patna, September 26, 2025: With the political atmosphere in Bihar turning out electric, Union Home Minister Amit Shah begins a two-day Bihar tour on Friday, addressing the BJP workers’ convention in Bettiah (West Champaran) before holding a late evening election strategy session with state leaders in Patna.

Amit Shah will go to Samastipur and Araria on September 27:

On Saturday, Amit Shah will attend workers’ meetings in Sarai Ranjan (Samastipur and Forbesganj (Araria) to energize cadres.

Apart from Amit Shah, the BJP has already held a core committee meeting in Patna to finalize candidates and election preparation.

In a major outreach program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday transfer Rs 10,000 each to 75 lakh women beneficiaries, releasing the first installment of the Rs 7,500 crore package under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana.

The event will be held virtually, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar participating alongside beneficiaries across the state.

Nitish Kumar’s development blitz:

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar continues his Pragati Yatra, inaugurating and laying foundation stones for projects worth thousands of crores every day.

In the past week alone, he has unveiled projects worth over Rs 3,000 crore across multiple districts, signaling that the JDU is preparing to contest with full force despite recent political turbulence.

Grand Alliance counter-offensive:

The Congress Party, seeking to galvanize its traditional support base, held a high-profile Congress Working Committee CWC meeting in Patna on Wednesday, focusing on the extremely backward classes and launching a statewide signature campaign against alleged vote theft.

Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra has already drawn significant attention, and on Friday, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will arrive in Bihar for a day-long visit.

She will attend a Mahila Samvad program in Patna’s Sadaqat Ashram, followed by a massive rally in Motihari later in the day.

With Amit Shah, Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra all entering the fray within the same week, Bihar’s political temperature is souring.

Development promises, caste census demands, women’s welfare schemes, and employment issues are emerging as the key battlegrounds as both the NDA and the Grand Alliance strive to outmanoeuvre each other ahead of the much-anticipated polls.
