
A Chinese inmate tried to cut his private part inside Muzaffarpur jail.
Patna June 8: A Chinese national prisoner tried to chop his private part inside the jail in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district on Saturday.
The inmate is identified as Li Jiaqi (60). He was arrested from Barriya bus stand in the city on June 6. He illegally entered India through the Nepal border. He was not carrying a valid Visa. Since then, he has been lodged in Khudiram Bose Central Jail Muzaffarpur.
Jiaqi was found in an unconscious stage inside the washroom of the jail with a pool of blood all over the place. The jail authority admitted him to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) and his condition is stable.
“The Chinese inmate has tried to self-injure. At present, he is being treated,” said the superintendent of Khudiram Bose Central Jail Muzaffarpur.
There was a sensation in Jail when a Chinese prisoner tried to harm himself. It is said that the Chinese citizen went to the toilet and tried to chop his private part with the glass of his spectacle.
Following the incident, there was a stir in the entire jail. Senior officials of the jail administration questioned other prisoners in this entire matter.
The district police seized Chinese, Nepalese and Indian currencies from his possession apart from a mobile phone, a map of China and three stone statues.
