Patna, August 16, 2025: Jan Suraj Party Chief strategist Prashant Kishor (PK) on Saturday addressed the Bihar Badlaav Conference organized at Haj Bhawan, Patna, where over 3,000 Muslim intellectuals from across Bihar gathered to interact with him.

Claiming that the Jan Suraj movement has already connected 1.25 crore people, Kishor said a significant section of Muslims has joined the campaign,

“The Muslim community has played a big role in connecting Jan Suraj. You have been burning like lantern oil till now, but the light of the lantern is about to extinguish. If you come with us, in the next two years we will change the direction of the country’s politics from Bihar itself,” he said.

Prashant Kishor urged Muslims to align with Jan Suraj, promising political change by 2027.

“After Bihar, your fight will be fought in UP. In West Bengal, the Muslim community listened to me—see, now UCC-NRC has ended there,” he added.

Prashant Kishor claims that if 20% Hindus join Muslims, the BJP will be defeated:

Prashant Kishor emphasized that more than 50% of Hindus in India are against the BJP, and if even 20% of them align with Muslims, the BJP’s dominance could be challenged.

“Half of the Hindu population believes in Gandhi, Babasaheb Ambedkar, Lohia, socialism, and communist ideology. These people fought for India’s freedom, not the BJP,” he asserted.

Recalling his past role in the BJP’s 2014 victory, Kishor said, “We helped Modi win in 2014. But in Bihar, within a year, we reduced the BJP to 55 seats. Just as you shed blood and sweat for the freedom struggle, your role in Bihar’s political change must also be written in history.”

Prashant Kishor challenged to INDIA bloc:

Taking on the opposition alliance, Kishor demanded greater Muslim representation in ticket distribution.

“We challenged the INDIA alliance to give proper participation to Muslims. Wherever you field a Muslim candidate, we will not give a Muslim ticket. Instead, we will field a Hindu there,” Kishor said, calling Muslim votes decisive for shaping Bihar’s future.

He also downplayed fears of voter deletions under the Special Intensive Revision process.

“Even if 10 names are deleted, 90 remain. That is enough to change governments. The bigger challenge is to ensure these 90 votes go to the right place. Do not fear anyone except god. You have seen BJP, Modi-yogi’s rule, UCC-NRC—what is left to fear now?” he told the audience.
