Sudhakar Singh slammed Jitan Ram Manjhi for his owl remarks.

Patna, August 26: Sudhakar Singh, the RJD MP from Buxar, strongly criticized Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi for comparing Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar assembly, with owl.

“As long as Jitan Ram Manjhi is out of power, he poses as a poor man. As soon as he comes into power, he becomes rich. He started speaking the language of rich people. Only he can tell what the formula for that is,” Singh said.

The Buxar MP also pointed out the impact of inflation on marginalized communities, specifically mentioning the Mushar (Manjhi) community to which Jitan Ram Manjhi belongs.

“The people of Manjhi (Mushar) community in Bihar still do not get two meals a day. Imagine the impact of inflation on them. If the king’s stomach is full, then the stomachs of the poor people are also full does not hold true anywhere,” Sudhakar Singh said.

The statement of Buxar MP came a day after Jitan Ram Manjhi compared RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav to the owl. In a statement to the media, Manjhi said: “If a bird cannot see during the day then what is the fault of the sun is.
Sudhakar Singh said that Manjhi’s statement is “very sad”. Being a senior politician, he should not give such a statement. He emphasized that inflation affects everyone, from the common people to those in the media, and that this reality is reflected even in government figures.

“The people are facing a lot of problems in arranging two meals a day and clothes from their income. One should worry about how to solve this. Jitan Ram Manjhi is a Union Minister, but instead of finding a solution, he is giving such statements, which is very sad,” Singh said.

Reacting to the statement of actor-turned-BJP MP Manoj Tiwari, Sudhakar Singh said: “Because of people like him, we have to feel ashamed outside Bihar today.”

“These people have served obscenity in Bhojpuri through songs. Because of that, Bhojpuri-speaking people are feeling ashamed. Such people are bringing down the dignity of Parliament,” Singh said.

Manoj Tiwari has called senior Congress Rahul Gandhi a “mental patient” and advised him to get treatment in a mental hospital.
