Patna, May 25, 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a sharp attack on the RJD and Congress, accusing their leaders of creating “obstacles in every holy work” in the country.
Addressing a massive rally in Bihar’s Buxar Lok Sabha constituency, the Prime Minister said, “After 500 years, a grand Ram temple was built in Ayodhya and the dream of common people was fulfilled. I felt so proud. While the entire country was celebrating and people from Buxar were sending gifts for Ram Lalla, RJD and Congress leaders boycotted the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony. These people have always created hurdles in every sacred cause.”
While polling for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections was underway in eight constituencies of Bihar, PM Modi addressed three back-to-back rallies in Patliputra, Karakat, and Buxar, urging voters to support NDA candidates Ram Kripal Yadav, Upendra Kushwaha, and Mithilesh Tiwari, respectively.
These constituencies will go to the polls in the seventh phase on June 1.
PM Narendra Modi criticized the Congress:
The Prime Minister also targeted the Congress party, alleging dynastic arrogance and chaos within the opposition bloc.
“Congress considers the country its personal estate. Its leaders believe the prince alone is entitled to rule. And now, the INDI alliance says they will have five Prime Ministers in five years—can such a large country function like that?”
He accused the opposition of pursuing appeasement politics and undermining national unity.
“They want to repeal the CAA, give free entry to infiltrators, and bring back Article 370 in Kashmir. The INDI alliance can go to any extent for appeasement and their vote bank. They even want to get your property X-rayed,” Modi said.
Further attacking Congress, he added, “Congress says Muslims have the first right to the nation’s resources. They want to end the reservation for SCs, STs, and OBCs. But Bihar has made its stand clear—the people here won’t deviate from the path of development. They have seen the horrors of Jungle Raj and will not go back.”
Concluding his address, PM Modi appealed to the people of Buxar to elect BJP candidate Mithilesh Tiwari, promising a new phase of development under the NDA government.
PM Modi appealed to voters to vote for NDA candidates:
“Vote for the NDA, and we will provide houses to three crore more poor families, free medical treatment for all elderly above 70 years, reduce your electricity bill to zero under the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, and make three crore sisters Lakhpati Didis,” he said.
